Sun Valley Area Guided Fly Fishing

Like our guests, each guided trip is different—an experience tailored to you and your skill level. With a Silver Creek Guide, you’ll learn how to catch fish independently, enjoy beautiful scenery and great company. Our guide staff is made up of Certified and Master Casting Instructors, each with a passion for fishing, a deep knowledge of our local waters, and enthusiasm to share it all with you.

Guided Fly Fishing

Tax, rental gear, and transportation are not included. A third angler may be added for $150. Valid Idaho fishing license is required but not included.

Full-Day Fishing (8+ hours)

Covers all our licensed areas. Includes lunch.
$695 per day for 1 to 2 anglers.

3/4 Day Fishing (4-6 hours)

This service includes the Big Wood River, its tributaries and Silver Creek. Lunches are not included, but may be purchased by special order ($20/person).
$525 per day for 1 to 2 anglers.

1/2 Day Fishing (Up to 4 hours)

This service includes the Big Wood River and some of its tributaries. Lunches are not included but may be purchased by special order ($20/person).
$450 per day for 1 to 2 anglers.

Drift Boat Fishing (8+ hours)

Over 60-plus miles of water along the Salmon River.
$895 per day for 1 to 2 anglers. Full-Day.

Steelhead Fishing (8+ hours)

Steelhead season begins in mid-March and runs to the end of April on the upper Salmon River. Lunch included.
$795 per day for 1 to 2 anglers. Full-Day.

Our guarantee is simple: If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with a Silver Creek Guide, you do not have to pay for the service. No argument, only apologies. That goes for merchandise, too. If you are not satisfied, now or in the future, you can expect a prompt exchange or refund.

What's Included

  • Our guides take the necessary precautions to ensure your safety.
  • All flies will be provided by your guide.
  • The guide fee is for two anglers. A third person may be included for an additional $150 by request. There is a two-person limit per guide on Silver Creek and on steelhead trips.
  • Float tubes are included if needed.
  • Lunches are included on full-day trips.
  • Lunches are available by special order for 3/4 day trips at $20 per person.

What You Will Need

Any angler over age 14 must have a license. Please visit the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to find out more about how to obtain a license.
