Fly Fishing Guide
"What I enjoy most about teaching is working with newbies to the sport. Kids and adults alike all have a moment on that first trip, whether it's landing a fish or learning to cast- the aha moment. I'm always looking to ignite the spark in one more angler."
Paul Aguilar hails from New Jersey but was raised in Idaho. He explained, “We moved in the early 2000s for a simple life of the mountains and the west coast” and he never looked back. Paul has seen a good deal of the country between his birthplace and adopted state as he and his wife spent two years traveling in a 20-foot camper “fishing everything we could and hitting 30 national parks and 34 states.” Spending time exploring new waters and taking a good old-fashioned road trip with his wife is still high on Paul’s list of things that make him happy. He also spends as much time as possible in local waters and likes to end a day hanging out at the river’s edge with friends, grilling, enjoying an ice cold White Claw (or two), and sharing fish stories.
