It has been almost 6 months since I have seen my good friend Jack, and he has not missed a beat. While the fish on the right is dwarfed by the big fall brown on the left, Jack should be more proud today than that slab of October. Tighter water – More delicate cast – Slow water sight nymping at its’ finest. Plus the “dink” on the right had a severe Tarpon complex with multiple tail-walks and cannon ball flops. Who says Browns don’t jump?
Over the past couple of days the bugs seem to be getting better. PMD’s – Callebaetis – Baetis – and don’t forget any kind of creepy terrestrial, anything black and dark have been my favorite.
Jack thanks for the day and see you bright and early tomorrow!
