Fly Fishing Guide
"Each fishing adventure is a chance to meet a new person and have an awesome day on the water."
“If I can teach a guest, then they can apply what they’ve learned to their own fly fishing journey and develop that excitement to get better. That is what is most rewarding for me.”
Nick Kragseth is a native of western Washington, hailing from Stanwood, gateway to the beautiful Camano Island. He learned to fish as a child and recalls drift boat fishing on the Missouri River in Montana and seeing a hatch of mayflies and countless fish breaking the surface right before sundown. A proud member of a military family, Nick first came to Idaho after his parents retired to the area to be closer to them and was thrilled with the fishing and outdoor lifestyle the Wood River Valley provides. And Nick loves guiding. He says, “The best guide trip I have ever had, honestly, has been every trip. Each is different and the chance to meet a new person and have an awesome day on the water is consistently great!”
