Yourself and a companion can cast flies to a variety of native trout as your expert guide rows the drift boat to all the prime holding areas. The trip can easily fit into a single summer day, or stay overnight in the picturesque mountain town of Stanley.

From the Stanley Basin area to just above Challis, anglers are provided with the exciting chance at large sea-run steelhead. Spending the winter months in deeper waters of lower sections of the river, the fish make their way upstream to this section of river and open fishing begins at ice out and runs to the end of open season on April 30th. This provides anglers in the region a unique opportunity to use larger rods and two-handed casting techniques of spey casting while fishing their favorite legendary steelhead patterns.
