Casting 4 A Cure

For me, the single greatest thing about Casting 4 A Cure is that every time I tell someone about it, the response is the same.. “Wow I had never heard of Rett Syndrome before.” And that in itself is the reason for the event, to raise awareness of what Rett is and how it can destroy the life of little girls and their families.
Sure the event is loosely called a “tournament” however competitive fishing is not at all part of the program. The atmosphere of the event is about various components of the fly fishing community joining forces to raise dollars and awareness to provide funding for research and support for the families touched by Rett. I hit the road today for the Victor Idaho event, to film and document the teams as they fish the SF of the Snake River. Great times for a great cause. I’m all in!
