Mark is sure to make his mark on your fishing

“I really consider myself a teacher. I enjoy sharing the how-to’s of this amazing sport with guests.”

Mark Osmer is an enthusiastic University of Idaho Vandal and transplant to the Gem State from Diablo, California. There, he learned to fish for bluegill in Diablo Lake at the tender age of six. The world-class hunting and fishing brought him east to the mountains of the Wood River Valley.

Since he began guiding, his most memorable trip was with a multi-day client. On the client’s last day before returning to the ‘real world’, the man caught a large brown trout on hopper. Whomp! For Mark, the perfect ending to a perfect day on the river is to land a fish on the last cast!

What folks say about fishing with Mark

I have used Mark alot. He is great. First time we used Pat. He was really good. Knowledgeable, explained things clearly and simply for my wife and was very patient. I will definitely request him again!

Oz has been our lead guide for several years and he always does an outstanding job of organizing the fishing for the family. We had to change our fishing from 12 people in float tubes in Ee Da Ho Ranch to fishing in several locations because of fire. Oz and the other guides did an excellent job and everyone had a fun time.
